We run advertisements and promotional articles in a range of magazines, and have tried to list them here, along with reduced-quality images of the ads.

Kurodahan Press Style Guide for English Language Submissions
This document is in two parts. The first part refers to the technical specifications we expect to see in documents submitted to us. The second part covers conventions of usage we prefer to see. As one might expect, the first part is less open to modification than the second part.
We welcome proposals from authors or rights holders of books relevant to our aims as a publisher. Please review the catalog section of this site to get an idea of the kind of material we are interested in. Feel free to write to us if you want more specific information about the books we want to see.
In general, we will be hiring artists for (1) cover illustrations for books, and (2) interior artwork for books. Covers will usually be in full color, and interiors in black-and-white. We will normally provide a copy of the manuscript for the artist to use in creating the artwork.
POD stands for Print On Demand, and it has the potential to revolutionize the publishing industry. Long ago, when books were made by hand, almost every book was -- in essence -- "print on demand": it took considerable time and effort to make a book, and it was uncommon to make any book unless someone needed it.
Then came mass-market publishing, with paperback editions in every bookstore and airport around the world. Books became products whose production, distribution, and sales systems closely matched those of many other mass-produced goods. Books were printed in runs of thousands or tens of thousands at a time, but it became very difficult for publishers to calculate their actual sales. Warehousing and returns of unsold books meant that sales totals were guesswork until six months or a year after a publication went out to bookstores.
